The i-STAT Ceramic Conditioning Cartridge is the cleaning cartridge designed for use with the i-STAT®1 handheld system to clean the connector pins in the analyser that connect to the electrodes on the cartridges, it consists of an aluminium base that supports a ceramic "strip", which is a white strip of Alumina (Aluminium Oxide Al2O3) that is held down by a brass retainer and retainer screw.

Details

The i-STAT Ceramic Conditioning Cartridge may be used up to 100 times before the strip is worn and needs to be rotated or up to 200 times before the strip must be replaced.
Use the CCC Usage Log to keep track of the number of pin conditioning cycles performed with the current ceramic strip in the CCC.

1. Clean the shell and sterilize it to ensure that its appearance looks like brand new one

2. Replace the ceramic with a new one

3. Do 10 times test on machine

4. Do quality check procedure
